Please, introduce yourself and your studio…

My name is Bojana Miskeljin and I am an architect who specializes in digital image-making. For 10 years, I worked and developed images for E2A / Piet Eckert und Wim Eckert / Architekten. In 2023, Studio Miskeljin was established as a digital Image Studio in Zurich.

How did you find your way into the field of architecture? Why are you fascinated by your work/architecture in general?

I have always been interested in visual expressions and am often inspired by thinking through images and imagining their identity.

What is the essence of architecture for you personally?

Creating space to improve and celebrate everyday life.

Whom would you call your mentor?

I worked for 10 years for E2A and I learned a lot from Wim Eckert and Piet Eckert.

How do you communicate/present Architecture?

I love to explore the architectural concept and during the process, I try to extract the identity of the project and imagine it in a certain moment.

Creating Images to visualize the ideas of architects and designers seems to be a delicate thing. How important is the relationship and communication between you and your clients?

It is important to understand what the essence of the project is and how the architect would like to represent it. At the same time, within this frame, I search for an aesthetic and a universal quality, such as light, texture, color, composition…

What does it take to create a good architectural image?

A good architectural concept and a poetic moment to capture its identity.
